Polaris SL2500 Slide Gate Opener
The all-weather SL2500 slide gate opener is designed
for slide gates up to 800 lbs. and open up to 30 ft. Compared to the
SL2000, the SL2500 differs in its more efficient circuit board designed
to maximize power from the motor. Its chasis is zinc plated, anodyzed and
also powder coated, offering better protection in wet climates.

kit includes the 24V DC motor, control box, electro-plated chassis, transformer,
chain
(size
41), brackets
and
hardware kit. Our control box features large replaceable
terminals, multiple diagnostic LEDs to help with troubleshooting, and
quick-install settings. Designed
for long-lasting, trouble-free performance and is UL 325 safety standard
compliant. Made in the USA.

Powering
the SL2500
The Polaris Slide Gate openers require 110V
AC power. Each gate operator should be electrically attached to
its own 20 amp circuit breaker.
A transformer converts 110-volt AC power to
18-22 volt DC power, which runs into the gate operator's control
board via a multi-stranded direct burial wire. AC power will provide
the most consistent charging of the gate operator's battery.
If you lose AC power, the gate opener battery
will hold its charge and cycle several times before running out
of power.
Battery back-up is an optional feature and
can operate the gate opener when AC power is disrupted.
